About the campaign: March is Epilepsy Awareness Month in Hong Kong and we grab this opportunity to up the tempo on our promotion of epilepsy awareness across Hong Kong. Throughout March, we launch our "Paint the Town Purple" campaign, culminating in Purple Day on March 26. In Painting the Town Purple we actively encourage the Hong Kong public to become involved in eliminating misconceptions about epilepsy; providing positive perspectives on the condition and promoting safe first aid practice to help those affected by a seizure.
Lavender (Purple) is the colour that is universally associated with epilepsy. We hope by Painting the Town Purple we can build awareness and we seek your support in doing this.
